March 22, 2018 to March 24, 2018 All Day
“When opportunity knocks, don’t let fear hold you back. Open the door and embrace the opportunity that has come forth.” These words surely put up an image of how one can grab the opportunities presented to them.
Thus, to cherish your MUNing experience whether for the first time or not, be a part of MNNIT MUN 2.0
Here are our first set of Executive Board Members, for UNHRC. Introducing,
Karishma Kharbanda, the Chairperson of the UNHRC is a consummate visionary and a prophetic dreamer, she is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in Commerce. A diplomat at heart, she wants to pursue a career in Journalism and become a War Correspondent. Literature was the first “Koi No Yokan” (love at first sight) of her life and has been ever-present since her school days. In her friend circle, she is known as a person who’ll always stand up for that social cause, we have all been ignoring. A true friend to listen to your stories, she wants to make people aware of the glaring issues prominent in the current world scenario. She is passionate about Travelling, meeting new people and drawing on the “saviour faire”. An avid reader, she loves to lose track of time while reading and listening to music. Karishma’s formula of being happy and successful is being herself in the most vivid possible way she can and that is how she leaves a mark wherever she goes.
Deeksha Dwivedi, the Vice-Chairperson of UNHRC is an activist and an advocate. She had the privilege of working with International organizations like United Nations Development Programme and International Solar Alliance. As an EB, she is looking for clarity of thoughts and Rules of Procedure rather than the number of MUN’s on your list. She says, ” I am Looking forward to an engaging three-day conference”.
