About SGIMUN 2019
“War never again! Never again War!”
As news headlines around the world are filled with reports of violent conflict, it’s important that people keep fighting for peace. Peace is something that must be actively worked for, as we consciously decide to move away from war. Speaking up is just one way to do that. Sanjay Ghodawat International Model United Nations Conference is ready to establish peace so that, wars become a thing from the past – The Theme in the journey of our 4th Edition is to understand and know tranquillity to avoid the battles that don’t win anyone anything at all.
“KNOW PEACE 4 NO WAR”
SGIMUN 2019 provides delegates the ideal platform to observe, rationalize, debate and innovate. The current occurrences, affairs and issues in the world offers us an array of topics of interest. We have committees ranging from discussing the situation related Disarmament in the 21st Century to current pressing concerns like tackling the Pulwama Attack in the Indian-exclusive Stakeholders Meet committee in addittion we have a committee to discuss the future in context of Artificial Intelligence. Olympic fanatics can go crazy in the IOC committee as they express their views on the committee’s agendas while taking on the role of Olympic Countries.
This year our team has returned with a bang and are providing our delegates with an enhanced environment of entertainment, challenges and motivation. We aim to make this MUN experience a memorable one infused with information, character building and of course an opportunity to discover and form new relationships.
