Delegate Registration and Official Announcements
After the commencement of registration, the applicants have to register for the conference. The application would be on an individual basis and candidates are requested to fill the participation form with all the necessary information and the registration fee.
Submission of Position Papers
The delegates will get their country and committee provisional allotment via email after the closing of registrations. The submission of Position papers should be done in the format specified in the mail. It is mandatory to submit the position paper as it would form an important part of the evaluation process.
The MUN conference will be a 1-day event. There will be 3 sessions in the conference, assuring a constructive debate. There will be only one committee. The participants are advised to show enthusiastic involvement due to the short format of the event.
The DSE MUN is an online event to provide the participants a platform to discuss the burning and most concerning issues of the world via research, debate, lobbying drafting, and come up with a unanimous solution. The students play the role of delegates from different countries and attempt to solve real-world issues with the policies and perspectives of their assigned country. The participant should express their own countries interests by elucidating on the policies and decisions of his/her country.
The agendas and topics taken would be real-world issues and problems faced by the world ranging from topics like the Palestine issue to the treaty on non-proliferation of nuclear weapons.

Agenda: Socio Economic impact of the pandemic and the way ahead
Participation is open to all college students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate courses from any discipline across all colleges and universities in India.
There will be a participation fee of 100 rupees. The payment is to be done via D2C only.
There are no prerequisites for participation. We encourage first timers to join for having a rich experience of international level diplomacy.
The participation will be on an individual basis (Only a single delegation for the committees).
After the end of the registration period, you will get your country allotment via email. You will need to submit your position paper on the same mail chain. The position paper would form an important part of the final evaluation.
Please note that, post the payment, no refund, whatsoever, can be done for the withdrawal from the event.
The up-gradation of the allotments will be subject to availability and expected MUN experience for representing the allotment.
The delegate will be solely responsible for stable internet connectivity during the event.
The delegates are required to attend all the sessions to be considered for Evaluation.
The organizing team reserves the right to change the rules at any point in time. All allocations and upgrades will be based on the discretion of the organizing committee.
All decisions in the matter of eligibility, authenticity & final judgment will be with the Organizing Team.
The participants should get themselves accustomed to the rules and regulations of the conduct of the MUN conference. However, the team will also entertain genuine queries on its official mail.
The organizers may stop the registration process if they have a suitable no. of participation.
The fee payment and prize distribution shall happen only via online payment.
The participants are advised to register with contact numbers that are on Whatsapp.
Any changes made to the event that are of relevance to the participants shall be communicated to them by the organizing team.

4. There will be only one committee of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
5. The committee links will be shared via e-mail. Official WhatsApp groups will be formed for smooth and substantive discussion during the committee hours and for establishing a communication link between the delegates and the organizing committee.
6. The organizing committee may(or may not) hold a session for getting the participants accustomed to the online platform for the conference.
